  • Gemmills Swamp Improvement
    Working with Friends of Gemmills Swamp and Parks Victoria to beautify, revegetate and clean up the area and continue to promote the area for bird-watching Federal government.

  • Federal Government Envirofund Projects
    To plant up to 15,000 native trees and plants as part of a joint project between GVEG, City of Greater Shepparton and Goulburn Murray Water.

  • Another Envirofund Project
    Aiming at revegetating selected roadsides with up to 10,000 native plants over the next 12 months.

  • Shepparton Bypass
    Continue to lobby for the most environmentally sensitive option for a future Shepparton bypass.

  • Barmah-Millewa National Park
    Continuing input into the Barmah-Millewa National Park Campaign, with the aim of achieving improved management with indigenous community, and an end to timber harvesting and grazing of one of Australia's national icons- The Barmah-Millewa Forest.

  • Living Murray Process
    Involvement and representation in the Living Murray Process and in particular, the Goulburn Flows Study, with the aim of improving the long term health of rivers such as the Murray and Goulburn through improved environmental allocations.
