This tele-movie was based on the novel "My Husband, My Killer" written by Lindsay Simpson and Sandra Harvey, surrounding their account of the real life trial of Andrew Kalajzich. Colin Friels played the real life detective in charge of the investigation and subsequent arrest and conviction.
Colin once again plays a determined cop in a similar vein to the fictional
character of Frank Holloway (Water Rats).
