After I wrote my ‘off the wall’ fic "Kidnapped" I told myself never to try this style of fluff again… But after running it by two of the ‘players’ in this piece to see if it was even worth typing up… well they said it was. So if it is too warped, blame Julia and Sonia to a big extent… and Sarah to a lesser extent. The best thing about this was reading it to Julia and her actually saying the dialogue that I had written for her to say BEFORE I actually read it to her!!!!! "BRAINS…. What have you done NOW?" "Oh shit… where the hell are we?" said Rachel looking around. "Who’s there? Oh god what have you done Brains?" "Rachel… I have this really bad feeling again," replied Frank. The only thing he could recognise was his partner lying on the floor beside him. "Yeah so have I…. where the friggin’ hell are we this time?" ********** FREEZE ********** "Hey Jaye…. What are you doing writing this? I thought you didn’t write Sci –fi stuff?" "Nah… don’t usually… but you guys have been having fun Julia. MY TURN…." "Okay well who the hell is Brains? What is this…..?" "Oh just wait and see." [evil little smirk] ********** PLAY ********** "Who are you ?" said the short brunette standing over Frank and Rachel as they lay on the floor of the room. "More’s the point who the hell are you?" asked Frank. "I am Tin – Tin…" ********* FREEZE ********* "Whoa Jaye… who the smeg. is Tin – Tin?" "Ah… before your time I think Julia. Just wait and see." ********** PLAY ********** "Damn Brain disappearing," said the brunette who didn’t look like a Tin-Tin. But she did look concerned. That then concerned Rachel… Shit if this person didn’t know what was happening…. Hmmm Tin – Tin thought Rachel, now that rang a bell somewhere in her memory…. This place looked pretty primitive compared to all the other places they had been dumped. Hell, who was playing with them this time? Someone else came into the room. The brunette spoke to them. "Virgil… I think we have a minor problem here." "VIRGIL???" exclaimed Rachel. "Shit Frank do you realise where we are? Bloody hell I bet it is that damn older one playing with the controls." ********** FREEZE ********** "Shit Jaye… what is this….?" "Don’t you remember Thunderbirds at all Julia????" "Nope…" "Oh god I AM old….." ********** PLAY ********** "What older one Rach.?" "You KNOW… the one that was under you in the last story. The one that was fighting with that Julia bird who is always trying to kill me…." "Oh…" he grinned, "the one that wanted to share me with you?" "Yeah… that…." ********** FREEZE ********** "Ah Jaye… I think that Rachel is on to you this time…." "Hmmm think you could be right Cammie…" ********** PLAY ********** "Shit it’s Thunderbirds… I used to watch them when I was a kid… They were on early in the morning. I wish I could remember all the characters," said Rachel. "Yeah, I remember them vaguely too. Oh there was this blonde… hmm Lady something?" added Frank. "You know Lady Penelope?" asked this Tin-Tin. "Yeah that was her.. Blonde, skinny as hell, drove a bloody pink ‘Roller.’ You remember her Rach. Hmmm wouldn’t mind bumping into her…" "Shit Frank. Get a grip! Thunderbirds remember… at least the others have taken us somewhere real!" she exclaimed. "Real?…. did you say *real* Rachel?" "Ah you know what I mean. Besides if that ‘Jaye’ woman is at the controls, do you really think she’s gonna let you have a blonde?"
********** FREEZE ********** "Hey Jaye!" "Hey Sonia, come on in… can you believe I’m doing this?" "Ah in a word… no. But Rachel’s got a point there hasn’t she? I mean Frank has a snowballs chance in hell of getting any blonde with you around. Hell, he’ll be lucky to get any of Rachel." "Hmmm, evil aren’t I?" "Oh yes indeed… but I like where this is going." "Ha me too… back to it." ********** PLAY ********** "Tin – Tin what is going on here?" asked another Thunderbird member walking into the room. "Who the frigg. is he?" asked Frank. "Buggered if I remember," replied Rachel. "There were four or five brothers, and their Father I think." "The new blonde guy saw Rachel and smiled. "And I see we have visitors," he continued. "Yes Brain and another one of his experimental machines. ALLAN… DON’T LEAN ON THAT!!"

"OUCH! Get off me! Damn, same landing path," said Rachel. "Yeah – sorry." "YOU !!" yelled Rachel, "you’re the one…." "SHIT JAYE! Get me outa here. "My goodness Tin – Tin... what is going on here?" asked Allan. "I don’t know, she replied. "Look you keep an eye on them. I’m going to find Brain." The blonde one named Allan looked over at Rachel again. "Hmm hello lovely lady. Let me help you up. I’m Allan Tracy and you are?" Rachel glanced at Frank, smiled, and then offered Allan her hand to help her off the floor. "Rachel Goldstein, Detective, Sydney Water Police." "Oh Police… I’ve read about them. International Rescue and Police… hmm we are in the same line of work then. Can I offer you a drink?" "Frank Holloway," interrupted Frank, as he stood up. "And I remember what you’re about Pal!" "Leave it will ya Frank." "But Rachel… I remember this guy. Every bloody woman around he charms and…" "Drop it Frank. I remember him TOO." "What? Well then what the hell are you doing woman?" "Hey Jaye’s not going to let you have a blonde, but it looks like I might get one! SO BACK OFF!" ********* FREEZE ********* "Jaye!" "Hi again Julia… look sorry about before." "Ah that’s okay… thank God you got me outa there. Rachel would have killed me. So what the hell are you doing?" "Pacifying the Rachel doll." "The Frank doll is getting a bit peeved though." "Yeah… but it will be okay. I have plans for him." "Oh I bet you do!" ********** PLAY ********** "Damn I can't find him anywhere," said Tin-Tin returning. "Allan? What are you doing?" "Oh just talking to our visitors," he replied. "Well one of us at least," snapped Frank. "Well," said Tin-Tin, obviously annoyed. "Do you have to stand THAT close to the woman? I mean you don’t know WERE she’s been." ********** FREEZE ********** "That Tin- Tin bird is gonna cop it after THAT comment…" "Yeah I reckon Sarah… wander in and take a seat. You see Tin-Tin has the hots for Allan and with him making eyes for Rachel… well she is none too pleased." "Hmm neither is Frank," added Julia. "I know… isn’t this fun!" "Hey Sarah… it’s Julia… we finally get to meet. And yeah, Jaye apparently has plans for Frank." "Oh surprise me!" ********** PLAY ********** Rachel GLARED in Tin – Tin’s direction. All the test-tubes in their racks, and all the glass beakers on the bench behind Tin – Tin exploded into a million pieces. "Yeah," said Frank, "I always wondered what that look was capable of… in the right time warp of course." "Yeah pretty impressive if I do say so, replied Rachel. "Thanks Jaye." ********** FREEZE ********** "My pleasure Rachel." ********** PLAY ********** "Come with me Rachel… Let me show you around the Island. This is Tracy Island, named after my Father," swooned Allan. "Nah she’ll be right," stated Frank. "Frank… why don’t you go and see if you can find out how to get us home? I will catch you later," she smiled as she wandered out of the room with Allan. "Bloody hell, what is that woman trying to do to us?" said Frank out loud. "HEY JAYE YOU LISTENIN’? ENOUGH AREADY!" ********** FREEZE ********** "Okay Jaye, you’d better do something quick. He’s getting mighty pissed off." "Yep Sarah… I think I will send him somewhere that will keep him happy for awhile." ********** PLAY ********** ZAP – SMOKE – FLASH OF LIGHT "WHERE THE….?" Started Frank. "Hmm, is this a party or something? What language are they talking? Beer? HELL there is wall to wall beer in this room! What’s written on this coaster. ‘World Festival of Beer’ OH YESSSS!!!!" ********** FREEZE ********** "Yeah I think that will keep him happy!" "Yep, okay Sarah… where and with who?" "Me?" Why did all the women in ‘Thunderbirds’ always want him? Talk about missing vital equipment. Like a bloody Ken doll!" "Ah Rachel… they were puppets too… I think they reckoned in the year 2063 people wouldn’t be doing it the same way as they are now….." "Good point. So what now?" "Just trust me Rachel. Now put a brush through your hair and a bit of lippy wouldn’t go astray. You want to look your best for where you’re going." "I do?" "Oh yeah… trust me." "Jaye… what are you to?" "I mean you are the stand in aren’t you?" "Ah… stand in?" breathed Rachel. "Yeah? Oh I’m sorry. We haven’t been formally introduced have we," he beamed. "Redford, Robert but you can call me Bob. All my friends do. And you are?" "Rachel…. Rachel Goldstein," she smiled madly. "Okay Rachel. Nice to meet you. Has anyone told you that you have the most striking blue eyes?" "Eh…. Ah…" "Sorry, you probably just want to concentrate on this scene. Have you done much acting… of course you would have? I don’t understand Barbara. But she apparently has this thing about love scenes. I guess you don’t or you would be standing in for her, right. "Ah… er.. right," Rachel replied. "Do you want to rehearse it… in private first? My trailer is this way?" Rachel’s grin was a mile wide, "Sure let’s." He put his arm around her and walked her in the direction of his trailer. "How did you find out about this job anyway? Stand in work isn’t usually widely publicized." "Oh, my new best friend obviously heard about it…." ********** FREEZE ********** "Oh Jaye!" "Hmm, yeah I think Rachel and I are going to be buddies from here on in." "Hell yeah. I wish I had thought of that one. It would make up for me belting her around so much." I couldn’t hang around. I wanted to though." "Really?" Julia grinned. "Yeah really. So, where are we?" "I’m not quite sure….. JAYE?" ********** FREEZE ********** "So… where are you going to put them?" "Hmm don’t know Sonia, do you think a nice penthouse suite is going a bit over the top?" "The way those two are eyeing each other off, I think it might be quite appropriate." "Okay… well I guess she will sing out if she doesn’t like something…" ********* PLAY ********* ZAP SMOKE FLASH OF LIGHT "Hey Julia … you still there?" came Gavin's voice through the smoke. "Yeah… I was worried there for a tic. I thought she might have been going for my meanness tiara and stop all this. But we are still together… Somewhere." "Umm yeah okay… where the hell are we?" asked Gavin for the second or third time. "Well it’s night time at least. Hang on lets look out one of these huge windows… all the lights… we must be in a building up pretty damn high." They walked together to the window. "OH MY GOD! Is that the Eiffel Tower? OH MY GOD… she’s put us in Paris? Oh this is… this is…." "Perfect," replied Gavin. "Oh, way better than perfect," replied Julia smiling Gavin swept her up in his arms and carried her towards the bed. ********** FREEZE ********** "Hmm haven’t heard her complaining yet. I think we better just close that screen down I don’t want to watch." "Yeah… I think she is okay with that. I think I will set their time return for a couple of days." "Your such a softy Jaye… Paris?" "Yeah well why not. So who with and where do you want to go? Since I am navigating here?" "Oh hell Jaye too many early shifts and not enough sleep already. I wouldn’t enjoy myself…" "How about a credit token then? For when you feel up to it.?" "Oh I like the thought process – ta. Oh and by the way… where is Cam.?" "Oh hell nearly forgot. Flick on that screen there…." "This one?" "Yeah… OH SHIT… QUICK TURN IT OFF…" "Hell yeah… was that Cam. and Frank? What the hell…?" "Well it was Frank, sort of. She did at least give me some body contact with Frank in her last one…. I had to return the favour." "But I thought you wanted him?" "Oh well… its not the ‘real’ Frank. Brain over on Tracy Island, you remember those Thunderbirds where we started? He had his own replicator. Hmm, I made a copy of Frank while no one was looking. If you look closely you can tell the difference. Brain’s replicator was a bit primitive even for 2063." "Well it was put together in the sixties. So, the differences are?" "Well the copy doesn’t have the scarring from the gunshot wound to start. I wanted to make sure that *I* could tell the difference in case Cammie got wind of it and tried to switch them." "Good move… but she’s going to be really annoyed with you though when she finds out." "Nah I hope not. The one she has works the same as the original Frank. She should be fine about it. Hey she has this one to herself. Doesn’t have to share with anyone so that should help. I figured that if she had the real one even for a short time, there would be nothing left for me. This way I figured she could wear her one out. I think I will set the day timer on for Cammie, hmm four days and I think she should be right." "Yes well I can see that the real Frank is going to be overworked too…" "Oh bugger it!" "What Jaye?" "Well I’ve just realised. If I’m working the controls… I can’t very well get to the same place as I put Frank.. I forgot to grab a remote control." "Hmm I see your problem." "So…" "Jaye, how hard is this thing to drive? I’ll try anything once." "Easy, God damn easier than I thought it would be." "Okay.. so where do you want me to put you guys." "Hmmm…" [mischievous little smirk]
"Oh I know what you want written…. But I had meant venue, you know… time and place?" "Oh sorry.. you know how my mind works." "Yeah bloody devious… but devious can be good." "Hmm okay… somewhere secluded perhaps, we won’t want any interruptions. And I don’t want to be greedy either… perhaps only a few days… don’t want to wear him out totally and undo all that good work with Rachel… she’d be really annoyed if I totaled him." "And you think where she is she’s going to care? But yeah… okay… what about the ‘Footloose’… somewhere in the Pacific…?" "Yes brilliant… now everyone else should be okay… I have set the others on their time lines… they will come back automatically….
