Obviously the title gives the theme of the tele-movie away! The movie was made with the permission of Shirley Temple Black from her autobiography. Colin plays her father, who spends most of the money Shirley earned over the years that was 'supposedly' safely invested in a trust fund.
Not having viewed the tele-movie, I can't make much comment about it, other than it was produced by Paula Hart (Heartbreak films) and some scenes were filmed in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
