This
site is meant for those interested in northern Victoria and/or the southern
Riverina, for those interested in conservation and for those who enjoy the great
outdoors. It suggests some activities which can be undertaken in northern Victoria
and southern NSW, hosts pages for the local Bird Observers Club branch, suggests
ways in which local native plants can be used in landscaping, lists some local
outdoor activities, comments on environmental issues, provides some links to
environmental sites and more. It is hoped that you find the site useful.
Much information available on line or in texts is restricted to either the Victorian or NSW side of the Murray. Indeed, it is even difficult to find a road atlass which shows roads on both sides of the Murray in detail. This site tries to overcome some of those deficiencies.
